"Diabetes cannot eat jaggery"

According to nutritionists, while the consumption of many delicious colorful seasonal vegetables and fruits increases in winter, it is also the season to eat jaggery made from sugarcane juice.

Herbalist Ghalib Agha informed the viewers about the many benefits of jaggery and explained how to consume it in ARY News' program Awabira Saveera.

He said that if jaggery is compared to sugar, jaggery is better in every situation because sugar has only calories, iron, potassium and magnesium are absent, whereas jaggery contains all these ingredients and calories.

In response to a question, herbalist Ghalib Agha said that it is true that jaggery is much better than sugar, but there is a common misconception in our society that diabetics can eat jaggery. can't eat

He said that sugar (brown sugar) is the same thing as white sugar, only it is more refined, it also has the same harm as sugar.

He said that a common man should consume 10 to 20 grams of jaggery daily. Which can be consumed by adding tea to coffee or any other dish.
